We are looking forward to increasing SASO’s membership for the 2014-2015 year and we need your help to encourage more of our local ophthalmologists to join.

The purpose of the Society shall be to advance the art and science of ophthalmology, to promote communication and fellowship within its membership, to serve as a forum for cooperation and coordination among the ophthalmology departments of local teaching institutions and local private-practice ophthalmologists, to address socio-economic issues relating to ophthalmology, and to interact with the local medical community and the general community in matters of mutual interest and concern.
